I offer a free, thirty-minute online consultation for the purpose of discussing your project. I will listen to your goals and we will set a specific research question. We will discuss the type of report that you would like, and we will set a timeline. If you have previously worked on this question, you might share the information that you have so far. After the consultation, I will draw up a contract for our work together. I will work within the time guidelines that you set for the project. Together, we will iron out all of the details so that I can successfully meet your expectations.

I have been completing genealogical research projects for decades and I have extensive training, including a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. My research methods are efficient and my reports meet professional standards. 

I have experience researching at many genealogical repositories in the Denver metro area. I'm trained in the best research practices online, as well. I network with genealogists in other states and across the world, and I can subcontract with those experts as needed.

For research that requires me to establish someone's identity or determine the relationships among people in a family, I provide a full genealogical report and my fee is $50 per hour.  My research will meet the Genealogical Proof Standards, and I will utilize as many high-quality sources as are available.

For building out your family tree, my fee is $50 per hour. I am quite efficient with my time!

For brief requests that require record retrieval onsite at a local repository, I charge $30 per hour.

Each project is unique, and in some cases, my fees are lower. I am happy to discuss this with you. 

Creating a family history is an investment. Many families choose to share the cost among family members. Some families decide to contract for a few hours of research per month.

When we set your research question, I will give you an estimate of the time that the research will take and all of the details will be spelled out in our contract.
